Halloween is just around the corner and I made these simple headbands for a guest post over at Prudent Baby, so if you’re stuck and want something easy, these might just be it! We haven’t quite figured out what everyone will be dressing up as over here and True keeps reminding me I still have to sew hers (Oh time, where art thou?!), but this year’s motto is simple is best.

Have you figured out what you or your kids will be dressing up as? Maybe you’ll want to be a witch, kitty cat, magic dragon, or a ray of sunshine (which could easily be translated into Lady Liberty). If so, get the full instructions for the headbands here.

I love how you’re doodling on your pictures! How cool that you get to combine so many fun talents on this blog. The headbands are adorable and so are your girls! I’ve been following this blog for 3 years now, and it’s one of the best out there in my opinion!

Hi Ruby! You have great ideas and your girls are so beautiful! well done mamma 😉 easy and gorgeous items!
Just to comment…Truey looks ‘sadish’ lately in your pics, it may well be she is just shy or that she is going through an emotional growth spurt in front of the camera, or that Bravey is now more present and they are just different (as they should be, as everyone should be) and Brave has more of a comicky character??
I don’t know…my heart aches for her in these last posts…I wish I could give her a super hug and let her know she is AMAZING and UNIQUE.
I may just be seeing things where there is absolutely nothing to see.
Lots of love and strength to keep going, you make such a good mother 🙂

I love these ideas! So great! Did you make your little witch dress or buy it? I would love to know. If you made it, did you use a particular pattern?

    Hi!…

Here in Argentina we do not celebrate Halloween… Seeing that you are Christians…could you explain me why in USA you do celebrate it, …my question is why since it has pagan origins, in here we don’t look good the celebration of that holiday…
But I would love to read another way of thinking!

    (sorry for my english)

Thanks so much for sharing these ideas with the world. In our case: Berlin, Germany.
