put on some bowling shoes

June 20, 2011

For father’s day we, my siblings and I, surprised our dad and took him bowling. Of course, our mom came along too! This was True and Brave’s first time and they had a blast, though it did take True a very long time to come out of her shy shell and try it.
bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!bowling for father's day!
I love bowling even though I am not that great and it makes my carpel tunnel act up after, but it is so worth it! Ben’s own father’s day outing got postponed (we had a surprise for him on Saturday), but True ended coming down with a fever, so we just stayed home (but I was able to get lots of housework done). Looks like Papi Day will be on for us next Saturday. We did still make sure to give him his breakfast in bed! Can’t forget that now, can we?! It’s tradition!
Hope you had a good weekend celebrating the amazing fathers in your life! Now it is back to the work week and I will miss Ben so much while he is at work.
Dear weekends, you are much too short.
