tomatoes from the gardentomatoes from the gardenWowzers! These fresh tomatoes from the garden are all wonderfully fantastic. Store bought tomatoes cannot even compare. We’ve had a couple good harvests so far and love each and every one. It’s been our best tomato season thus far. They don’t last very long in our house because we all eat them up so fast. We are all tomato lovers over here!

How about you… do you love tomatoes?

Beautiful!! I am growing tomatoes for the first time this year and they are gone pretty much right away once I pick them up. Have only had grape tomatoes so far.. Can’t wait for the beefsteaks and heirlooms to ripen!

Gosh these look so tasty! Living in the UK its not always practical to grow your own veggies as our weather is so unpredictable…. but these just look so delicious!

So, off to the market to try and find some tomatoes that look half that tasty….

Love tomatoes! My favorite breakfast is a piece of multi-grain toast smeared with cream cheese and a big slice of garden fresh tomato on top. Delish!

  • Your garden fresh tomatoes are so stunning. My hubby hates ‘matoes so they are forbidden in our garden. I am harvesting a ton of squash though. Yum!

  • these are beeaauutiful! we have been getting our produce from local farms and the difference is amazing-the only thing is we have to eat everything quickly because it is so fresh (which i love…)

It has been a long while since I had a good tomato. My grandma has a summer house in the Ukraine where she grows all kinds of vegetables and fruits and as a kid I use to eat fresh produce all summer long and way into fall and winter, but here I rearely get to eat fersh and when I do, it is always good! Your tomatoes look amazing! Your girls are lucky they get to eat fresh!

You do know that after you wash the tomatoes you can freeze them without having to do anything to them.. The flavor will last for about one year. True, they will not be firm, but you will have the flavor and can use them for anything cooked, soups, sauces, etc.
