PICASSO’S BOUQUET OF PEACE

April 17, 2020

Inspired by Picasso’s Bouquet of Peace made in 1958 for a peace demonstration in Stockholm, Sweden, I thought it would be a great activity for kids today with an encouraging message. The hands gripping flowers symbolized unity and a sense of togetherness. It was Picasso’s way of saying, “Stay good to one another, even amongst the turmoil,” This seems to be a timely message for all of us now too.
