The tomatoes are growing like crazy and doing better at this time than any of our previous years. Ben attributes it to the special concoction he put in when they were planted. We finally picked our first harvest and this is the first time ever we had any to pick in June. And boy are they good! Out of this first harvest, the snow white variety was my fave. It was so sweet. Sweeter than any tomato I have ever had. Get ready for all the tomato show and telling that will be happening this summer. I have a feeling there will be a lot. What’s your favorite type of tomato?

those look so lovely. we have a few in our garden too. and we enjoy every bite…
is it weird that i won't eat a large regular tomato. but love the small cherry tomatoes.?!!
I totally have to try a tomato of every kind. They look really tasty
so pretty!! It is so fun to try all the different kinds. How do you tell when the green zebras are ready? I have some of those for the first time this year, and I'm afraid they're going to go bad because I won't be able to tell when they are ripe!
Looks so cute!
I can't wait to have my own tomatoes too!!!
Our tomatoes are growing out of control too. In fact, we munched on some last evening, with a handful of sweet basil.
Huzzah for Summer!
Yummie! 🙂
how cool! love your garden! love eating tomatoes, too! with basil & a vinaigrette dressing.
wow! they grew pretty fast. too bad i can't grow any in fog city. hah! one day though. one day.
I'm having total garden envy right now, those look so good!! It is a really late summer up here in WA and even our little container garden isn't growing much 🙁
No question, green zebra rocks my world. They have a little zing that makes me eat them like apples! So envious of your great garden… Our 9th floor apartment 90 miles from the equator is not a great tomato growing zone!
oh yes! soooo good!!!
I love this post! We recently got our first homegrown tomato and we're super excited about it! I hope your garden continues to flourish!
