Okay, so I am so, so sorry. Today, has been quite busy and I have messes everywhere that is in dire need for me to clean it up, but I thought I ought not keep the suspense any longer. After all, I did the random generator thingy at 6 this morning PST, but I just didn’t have time to blog about it. Plus, my little girls, were a bit high maintenance today!
Okay, now I freaked when I did this because 1) I forgot to replace “anonymous” with the correct names on the list, so what if it picked out “anonymous,” then I would be screwed 2) What if it pulled up a name, but there are two people with the same name… 3) I really wanted everyone to win… really! I feel bad that I couldn’t make 90 or so bags, but if I did I would have no life, also if that were the case, the little babes would be without their mama. Well, that just couldn’t happen.
Now, just my luck, when I checked there were two Jens that entered, but thank goodness only one Jen (with a double N). Congratulations Jenn!!! She also has a pretty cool blog, Ambrosia Girl, with some great design, so go check her out…

you have no idea! i’ve been thinking and hoping and wishing all day!
is it possible to make the bag without a sewing machine? i can’t afford one right now and if i were to hand sew it i’d want it to have enough durability if you know what i mean
oh i so wish i had more to giveaway! i was excited to announce the winner, but also kinda sad for those who really wanted it!
amanda, a sewing machine is definitely necessary, but let me brainstorm some other ways!

sorry for bothering you with comments! but i really love the bag and i was just looking at the Joann Fabrics website and there is a battery operated sewing machine for like 25 dollars, and i’m not an expert on sewing machines but a sewing machine would really help in sewing whatever, but does it matter what type you use? you are the only one i know that is a very wonderful sewer and knows how to use one so i’m completely clueless!

amanda- no worries. you are never a bother, i would love to help someone figure out questions like you have! i would say the $25 one may not do you any good. they do have a good kid sewing machine out there for like $80 and that may do it… it does matter what machine you use, email me at mycakies(at)gmail(dot)com and I will be glad to help you figure things out!
