Every month on the 3rd (since she was born on Dec. 3rd), I will take a picture of Soul and Boogie to track her growth for a year. I think it will be fun to see her size comparison as she grows. This idea came from a blog, but I can’t remember which one (You all are just the best, as now I know where this idea came from. It is Making It Lovely from whom I got this lovely idea!).
One month old.
From Making It Lovely, perhaps? That will be a cute collection of photos! 🙂
that´s a great idea! She looks so tiny in this chair now, it will be fun to see the photos as she grows. I think the chair is perfect for this and the simple background.
You will love this! I did this with one of my little boys with him holding a stuffed dog. It is so fun to see how much they grow, especially in the first year!
That is such a good idea! It's amazing how quickly they change and how we sometimes forget what they looked like a month prior.
Cheers!
yes…making it lovely has been taking these photos also
So cute, and they grow so fast. Great way to treasure that first, wonderful year.
sooo sweet!
Maybe from PinkLovesBrown? And now I want to do it, too!
I'm only two months behind!
She's a beauty!
thanks all! after your remembering it, it is making it lovely indeed from whom this idea originated! thank you!!!
rachel- you should totally do it with Ruby on your pink one! That would be adorable!!! It really is such a grand idea!
I still can't decide if i will use polaroid to document this or just plain 'ole camera. Maybe I will do both!
awesome! what a great idea!! it won't be long before her head peaks over the top of that chair!
This photo is SO adorable. It will be awesome to see this project take shape. What a great idea!
I'm totally bookmarking this idea for when I have chil'rens!
Brilliant.
My son was born on the 3rd of January two years ago and each month on the 3rd we take a family photo. It's nice to make sure we have not only a picture of him (we have a bazillion actually!), but that we have regularly updated photos of the three of us. I suppose when he's graduating high school I'll be crying at how small he was. And how young my husband and I looked!!
