Residing in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sarah Creighton is the founder of Veggie Kids, a company dedicated to the health and nutrition of children and families, which offers hundreds of tried and tested vegan recipes focusing on healthy, whole ingredients. This former fashion designer turned self-made chef is currently raising her three boys to be vegan. You’ll often find her in the kitchen whipping up some new creations with little helpers by her side!
Sarah recently authored a children’s book titled “The Boy Who Loved Broccoli” with her artist father as the illustrator. This humorous fictional story is meant to encourage kids of all ages to eat their veggies! Because you never know when you’ll need your broccoli super powers…

The kid's favorite vegetable is bell peppers. She'll eat them like chips.
We love broccoli. We eat it all the time, I hope its not too much.
Me and my girls love bell peppers…especially the orange and yellow ones.
My favorite vegetable is butternut squash. Hooray for fall!

We love many vegetables: corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli… Our boys even request “special” vegetables like brussels sprouts and kohlrabi for treats!
My favorite vegetable is definitely asparagus. So yummy. But my toddler – he has recently become vegetable averse. I'm hoping this is just a phase…

I tell my kids to be 'tree monsters' and then they'll munch down their broccoli. I love broccoli and buy it always. I might like fresh corn the best though.
i LOVE zucchini – steamed and cut in chunks with a little cheese on top. but i must say edamame or broccoli come in as close seconds…

My kids are so picky with veggies, they will broccoli and cauliflower though. But everything else is up for debate. My hubby and i love grilled zucchini drizzled with roasted garlic oil.

i just discovered the sweet potato. i think i only thought they were served mashed at thanksgiving but this fall i have been baking up fries and putting chuncks into tacos and trying to squueze them into every meal. so good!
