The girls have a Halloween party at enrichment classes tomorrow, so part of today was spent getting some treats ready for their classmates. We bought the silly-scary eyes at the craft store, cut up some black card stock in the shape of a head (the top part), punched holes for the arms of the eyes, and then the girls wrote a cute little message. Tada! Kids always love quirky things like these. They also get to wear their costumes to school, so there is a whole lot of jubilation over all the fun they will have tomorrow.
I’m sure plans for Halloween have changed dramatically for many of you on the East coast. I have been constantly checking online for updates, since we don’t have a television, and have been praying for all those affected by this insane storm. I’m hoping (and praying) you all are safe friends!
What a cute idea!
I am so excited for your Halloween post. I think this will be the 4th year I’ve followed your blog over Halloween. Your post has become something I look forward to every year!
love this idea. With the storm and rain and all I’m not sure that our plans to take J trick-or-treating with friends is going to work. But at least he’s having a party at school with his class mates and we might do a little something at home as well. We’re pretty thankful for our health and this seems like a pretty small thing to miss compared to some of the others that were hit worse.
love this! you’re so creative. i just love your blog. 🙂
