I started this blog to document my sewing and my wool felt flowers I used to make for local shops and my etsy shop, so it’s fun to go back to it. I am so happy to share that I will be heading to Singapore this summer, and teaming up with Bloesem to teach a creative workshop on felt flower making. It will be a fun time of creating, learning, and sharing ideas with other creative people. Irene has put together a list of awesome workshops and I wish I could take many of them (like this rope making vessel class), so I’m honored to be part of this. If you’re in Singapore (or happen to be there during this time), I hope you’re able to join us for the class! You can get more info about my class here, as well as the other Bloesem classes that are offered.
I’m also ready for all your suggestions of things to see, eat, shop, and do in Singapore too, so ready, set, go…
love!

Great, congrats ! In Singapore I loved the colorful neigborhood around the Masjid Sultan mosque and eating at the food courts. The xalongbao at Din Tai Fung are also a must, so delicious !

I spent my childhood in Singapore. Have fun! The classes sound lovely.
OMGGG!! NO WAY! I’ve been following your blog for a while now and am such a huge fan. I’m personally not a flowers person but may have to sign up just because it’s you!!
Yes, it would be fun so meet you! Meeting a reader is always like meeting an old friend! If you take a class, let me know, and maybe I can teach some other things that would branch off of it. The materials can easily lend itself to make a fun dreamcatcher!Plus, an afternoon of creating is just plain fun and inspiring.
These flowers are so exquisite, I absolutely adore them! How exciting to be off to Singapore too, dreamy!

Long time reader of the blog, based in Phuket, not Singapore BUT you will love it there – it’s so clean and colorful! Try all of the local food, definitely go to Haji Lane, Gardens by the Bay, and The Chinese Heritage Center. Also, get ready for humidity like you’ve never felt in your whole life! Have fun, Ruby!
