We did so much this day. We took the monorail to the Seattle Center, where we went to the top of the Space Needle. Then, we trekked down to the Olympic Sculpture Park, then walked along the waterfront and had lunch at Cutters. After which, we strolled Pike’s Place and continued the walking as we took a walking tour of Pioneer’s Square.
Let me tell you that half the time, True was crying and whining as much as her four year old body could! It was a very trying day, though the pictures say otherwise. We ended the night ordering pizza and eating all together in the hotel room. It was nice to relax and put our feet up, of course with a glass of wine in hand. Despite the trials of the day (and trust me there were lots), Ben and I know that when the girls are grown and out of the house, we will definitely miss their constant whining and crying! This is all part of making memories and that is something we love to do! Thank you Lord for this opportunity!
So glad our weather is behaving for you. Maybe I should just let you think it is always like this, but that would be fibbing. Have a wonderful visit and welcome!

I stumbled onto your blog recently and I think that you and your family are the cutest ever. I love the picture of Soul sleeping in the stroller. Seems like your trip was amazing. Makes me wanna do it…though it would be cross country and my kids aren't cooperative either. 🙂

i love seattle & can't wait to go back for more 🙂
Oh my gosh.. I looove these pics!
Love the ones where you managed to get the entire family – so creative!!
Beautiful photos!
That is a good perspective on the whinging! It's hard to imagine it some days, but perhaps I will miss the tears and tempers over bizarrely trivial things. =)
Great pics as usual. xo
Beautiful Seattle pics. Hope someone threw a fish over your head at the Pike Place Market.

girl, I have worried that travel with kids will be impossible and I am only going to have one! (at least this year!). Thanks for putting things in perspective for me. You are awesome.
