Christmas is fast approaching and we are just starting to get some Christmas decorations up. After making True’s little wool felt bunting over her bed, I wanted to make something a bit more festive appropriate for the holidays. I thought a string of wool colorful lights would be perfect. Thus, each girl has her own now hanging in her room.
The girls were pretty happy to have some “lights” in their rooms. It makes me happy too. Actually, I think the lights are so sweet that I made 4 extra, but one will be strung somewhere else in the house. The other 3 will be up in the shop today (as long as I don’t go into labor before I get it in the shop).
Well, before Christmas is here we have to go through Thanksgiving. Therefore, tomorrow I will be happily stuffing my face and tummy with loads of turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie, as well as enjoying my loved ones! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
I am very thankful to God for showing me continuously how much I need to depend on him in/for all things! What are you thankful for?

UPDATE: Christmas lights and some braided fabric necklaces now in the shop. Two sold and only 1 left. Christmas lights now sold out… thank you!!!

Where oh where do you find Wool Felt?
I feel like I've looked EVERYWHERE!
Very cute lightings for your girls. I am also creating lighting felt for my niece also. Maybe when I am done I can post it…
I also can't wait for Thanksgiving…I will be eating and eating till Sunday….lots of food coming.
I am very thankful of everything in life….good/bad.
LOVE these!
How cute…you are always so full of great ideas! 🙂 I can't even imagine what the girls must think of all the fun things you come up with.I have a feeling that when they are older, all the girls will be so jealous that Brave & True & #3 have such a fun, creative mom. :)I know I remember the very few fun things my mom did with me & it helps me be a better mom to my kids remembering how fun it was when I was kid when my mom did certain things with me….now your girls will be fun moms to their kids one day.
I'm thankful for our family being together..we were separated for 2 years while trying to sell our house. My husband lived by himself 500 miles away from us for his new job….we finally had to give up on the idea of our house selling & figured it was better that we be together than for us to be separated for who knows how long trying to sell a house that may not sell for another 2 years or so. 🙁 So I am happy we are together…we moved down here on the 4th of July & have been very happy together. 🙂
Those are so cute- what a great idea!

I am thankful to have my husband healthy and for my daughter and also for the opportunity to continue doing our business!
And for Angels too that God sends everyday to guide us on what we need to do!
Oh these are so beautiful. I am so thankful everything I have, I can usually tell you something I WANT but so easily forget about everything God has already given me.
Please, pretty please make more of these! We love them and will order right away… of course, you do have other important tasks on your hands – congrats! Love the blog!
I liked your idea so I did this in my home. I blogged about it and linked back to you since you were my inspiration. http://nrnoodle.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-garland.html
Thanks for sharing.
your house looks so lovely!
i LOVE the idea of wool felt christmas lights! to bad they are sold out in your shop. i blog occasionally at mybridestory.com and we would love to show your “christmas light” pictures. do you mind if i re-create some of those lights to decorate an office at a church i attend. i absolutely LOVE the idea.
I don't know what that shelf is in the first picture, but it would make a great thing to use / convert for an advent calander-y cubby.
I love these lights. I just came across yours and elsie marleys:

With 2 weeks until Christmas, this will just have to be a project for next year.
