These are some vintage pretty things that I picked up for myself when we did our pacific northwest road trip! My favorite is the red and black dress, which was picked up in Portland, cause it just feels so soft. Though, now it has gotten much colder these days (okay, probably not as cold like where most of you are), but I have pretty much resorted to staying in pajamas all day long. It is comfy and cozy that way! Find any good vintage pretties lately?
Be back later with the newest wrap it up wednesday! Oh and promise to share my pumpkin smoothie recipe soon.
Wow, that blue dress is stunning! It would be so cute with a lacy pink cardigan (okay, I'm a knitter, so I think everything looks better paired with something knitted…).
allison- can you knit me the cardigan! 😉 i wish i knew how to knit! crocheting doesn't get me very far!
Lovely pieces dahling!
I just got a mens suit jacket but I think is a little too big!
I LOVE that blue dress! So pretty! The cardigan with the baby blue on it would look perfect with it.
Looking forward to the pumpkin smoothie recipe! 🙂
AH!!
When the pictures first started popping up I thought PLEASE let these be suggestions Ruby is making for sale in lovely vintage shops!
(And they were not, but I'm glad you have them anyways.)
LOOOOOVEE. That cardigan, perfection. That blue dress with the flowers, sigh.
The shopping always looks greener on the other side (the other coast that is!)

Isn't Portland like the best place ever? Especially for vintage clothes?? We're actually moving there next year, and I can't wait to devour that city. I am in love with the blue dress, the cardigan…okay, I guess I'm enamored with all of it! Thanks for sharing with us!
I love the blue dress. It is sooo pretty! I love dresses with oversized pockets! My most recent purchase was a 40's playsuit. I can't wait to wear it (it's gonna be a long wait until summer…).
Ruby, on topic I wish you and Rachel would cover is cost. Do you set price limits for yourself? What would you typically spend for children's cloths/dresses/men's clothing.
The only store in my area where I ever see vintage clothing is Salvation Army, so I'm used to paying less than $10 for the items I find. (They are few and far between, though.) I'm curious to know what prices are like at flea markets or vintage stores.
I went to the Candlestick Antique Fair (smaller version of the Alameda Fair) and did a small write AND scored some cute things. Here's the link…
