my little ladies

my little ladiesmy little ladiesmy little ladiesmy little ladiesmy little ladiesI love these girls. Yes, they drive me nuts. Yes, they bicker, fight, and create ruckus together. Yes, after a long day of being with them I need a beer. But man oh man, yes, I do love them a whole lot that I will put up with being nuts (and having a beer every night) for the next 20 years. Though I will probably alternate the nights with wine.

And how cute is True in stripes and denim?! This little ensemble was sent over from the folks over at Molo, an overseas brand, and we are now big fans of their stuff (very well made goods!). True also suddenly looks a tad bit older in this pairing. I wish I could look as cute as she does in stripes and denim.

These girls are all so different from each other, but they all come from the same mold. If you know Ben and I well, and you know True, you would see that she is the perfect mix of both of us personality-wise. Brave is just utterly sweet. Soul’s looks sweet, but she’s dangerous. And our little Glow has a perpetual smile on her face when she isn’t whining for food. Yes, our everydays are pretty crazy with these four, and as much as I often get so frustrated in the heat of the moment (a lot of moments), I deal because this is what I want to do and where I want to be.

on me: shirt and skirt, vintage and thrifted. brick me up heel, c/o modcloth. on true: shirt and denim, c/o molo. shoes, salt-water sandals. on brave: shirt, misha lulu. shorts, vintage. shoes, rachel’s pop up shop. on soul: dress, misha lulu. shoes, vintage. on glow: shirt and skirt, f21 baby (when it used to be around).

  • I love that you have four girls. I have a girl and a boy. We’re still going to have more children and I pray that we have another little girl. I don’t have any sisters and it’s something I wish I had and so I hope that we can give that gift to our daughter. Either way, a baby is a blessing- and you have four!

your girls are so beautiful, like four little princesses.

  • How great that your girls are all different from one another. My two boys are also very different, but it is so much fun that they are. I really think all your girls’ outfits (and yours too) look so cute!!!! Stripes are always pretty!

They are just so beautiful. I have 2 and have the same moments but I wouldn’t want to do anything else either x

I love your blogs. If I’m being honest, I wish your other girls were featured as much as True is. True obviously loves the camera (and is quite the little model!) but I’d love to see more of the other girls – especially Brave! She’s adorable and so sweet, but I don’t see as much of her on the blog! 🙁

Anyway – again, love the blog! And all four of your girls are just precious. <3

    seriously… you are awesome!
maybe b/c i feel like when i read these kinds of posts i know i’m not alone.
i love my girlies to the moon and back… but they also make me completely LOCO!!!
and i like to unwind with a good wheat beer or glass of moscato in the evenings too.
    fancy that!
wish we lived nearer to one another.

I have four children relatively the same ages as yours (but I have three boys and a girl). I think you phrased how I feel so often perfectly. A good reminder that this is what I want to so and where I want to be too!!

i am happy to see this right now. i am going crazy these days with frustration of feeling like i am screamed at and cried at and fussed at all day long and i only have two. how do you do it? how do you keep your patience? how do you discipline? i wish i could be a fly on the wall for a day at your house. i think i am doing it all wrong.

Everyone feels like this. As long as the good outweighs the not so good, then everything will be fine. I’m sure you’re doing a great job! X

You have the cutest family and I love reading this blog. The names you came up with for your girls seem perfect.

Gorgeous photos of your beautiful girls. Isn’t it funny how you can bring all your children up the same, and yet they are all so very different?

I love the description of all the girls’ personalities! I can totally see it! Especially the ones about True and Brave! 🙂 You guys always make me and Taylor want to start popping out babies ASAP and have a big family, but I don’t think I could ever be supermom like you and juggle so much!

I’m not alone! I have 4 little girls too. Loved the comment about dealing, wanting and where you want to be. I feel the same way. Between the whining and screaming I hear their love for each other. So glad I bumped into your blog.
