This week’s learned, links, and thankfulness…
I am encouraged by how the girls work together to help take care of our home. I tell them that this is all of ours, and we all have to pitch in to take care of it, and they really do a good job at it. I love how they divide up responsibilities on our school whiteboard. #teamwork
Thankful our Soulie is 7!
This week was rough coming off a nice week of vacation, but we all buckled down and got things done.
I’d love to make a weaving and hang it on a wooden frame like this.
Gimme peel and eat beer steamed shrimp!
I’m almost done with handmade gifts for the girls. Woot!
My go-to place for stocking stuffers for Ben is Everlane. Their basic tees are the best.
The perfect stocking stuffers for kids are these doodle books by Start Creative Studio.
Love this basket set. The girls would love the mini one and the large one is perfect for picnicking.
This weekend is Soul’s birthday, next weekend is Ben’s. December is a busy month for us.
Told Ben I want this glitter phone case in my stocking and he said it looked like a toy for a kid. I don’t care. I still love it.
Enjoy the first weekend of December friends!
Hello, sorry if this bothers you. It’s better to be be careful with this phone cases. The glitter is very toxic and
it’s bad for you’re health if it leaks.

Good to know. I will read more about it! Thanks!
how old were the girls when you started having them do chores? that beer steamed shrimp looks super delicious!
We started at around 4 and we always give them age appropriate things. When it says clean the bathroom, it means they tidy it up. True and Brave can do a little bit more than Soul and Glow (and do things efficiently and properly), but it’s getting them to understand that we all work together. Being a family is team work and we all help each other out, and that our home is everyone’s responsibility.
