It’s been awhile since I’ve done a home/room tour (I did share Soul and Glow’s space last week), so I should do one soon of the little tiny decorative changes I’ve made to our home. I do share some home pictures (you may have seen some of them already) over at Make It Blissful and a little interview with Martine about blogging and home decorating things. If you care to read, you can check out the interview over here.
Thanks for letting me interview you, Ruby. You have a lovely home, and I’ve learned a lot about how to care for mine through your insights. 🙂
Thank you for having me!
Hey Ruby! I love your home and your family, and I am always encouraged by your sharing your journey of faith. I’m in the midst of contemplating a redecorate and may I ask if you do and how do you keep your windows private from prying eyes? I loveee the light that sheers allow but I live in Malaysia and generally, we grill all our windows and doors for safety and make sure outside eyes don’t peep in. Just wondering if you have a way of working with sheers that offer privacy when you need it!
I leave them open during the day, but close them at night. Our back neighbors can’t see through the ones we leave opened, and the sidewalk is far away from the front windows to prevent someone from looking in without making it obvious. For our curtains, we use cheesecloth draped over rods. It lets a lot of light in and still provide some privacy. Hope this helps some! Let me know if you have more questions.
