We’re all missing friends and family right now, so we made these simple cards you can print out and decorate, and stick in an envelope and send them old school style via snail mail. My girls have been sending lots of cards to all the friends and family we miss!

Download and print out the cards below…

PAPER WREATH

April 9, 2020

A simple wreath to put together to celebrate Easter!

Supplies

WREATH LEAVES pdf

MESSAGE BANNER pdf

Cardboard from a shipping box

Scissors

Watercolors/markers

Glue

Directions

1. Cut out your desired wreath size from cardboard. First, cut out a circle. Then, cut out another circle by leaving 2”-3” border to be used for the wreath.

2. Print out WREATH LEAVES and MESSAGE BANNER. We used about 14 printed pages for our 2’ round wreath.

3. Cut out leaves and glue onto your wreath.

4. Paint the blooms on the wreath.

NOTE: If you want to paint all the leaves and blooms, paint each print out first before glueing onto the wreath.

We wanted a minimalist wreath, so I left the leaves black & white and just painted the blooms.

5. Cut out your Easter banner message and glue in place.

And as always, love when you share it, simply tag and credit please. Thank you! See more #easyartaday projects here or simply follow along on instagram here.

WORDS WEDNESDAY

April 1, 2020

WORDS WEDNESDAY and combining a little swipe art (how to here) with a message so appropriate in this season. It really feels like the whole world is in this together. We’re finding ways to understand one another while in isolation, anxiety, and frustration creeping in, but also finding ways to inspire one another and encourage creativity. And with the rainbow being a symbol of solidarity and hope as we all combat the spread of virus, here’s another one to make and tape to your windows.

To color and make your own little poster, just download and print the documents below…

WORDS WEDNESDAY

March 25, 2020

Today’s WORDS WEDNESDAY is a coloring page for “MAKE EACH DAY COUNT” It was a reminder from Sunday morning’s sermon from Psalm 90, which we were able to gather with our church family virtually. Thankful to technology that we can still have Sunday gathering and not neglect to gather as a church during this time.

With the sheet… fill it in, color it, decorate it, and share it with the rest of us on Instagram! Put it on your wall as a reminder that while we are confined to our homes, we can still make each day count.

For me, it’s been a reminder to spend time in the word and savor God’s goodness, even with the fear and suffering going on. There’s still an opportunity to redeem the time that has been gifted to me. It reminds me for me to live is Christ, and as hard as it is to imagine at times, to die is gain because I know there are eternal glory days up ahead.

To color and make your own little poster, just download and print the documents below…
