We spent friday night getting lost in a corn maze… so much fun! We ran around chasing, screaming, and scaring each other. Good thing we had a flashlight! The girls had such a blast and we will definitely coming back here next year. Saturday was a day of bumming around at home, then dressing up at night to go visit family and do some trick-or-treating. The girls got lots of treats and healthy ones too (thanks Grammie and Grumpy!). Sunday was the Lord’s day and then coming home to rest, well for the girls, but Ben worked in the garden and I did shop stuff.
Here we are, the beginning of another week and it’s November! I love November, not only because it is my birthday month, but because we are that much closer to baby. Eek!!! The anticipation grows daily…
Happy Monday all! How was your weekend?
p.s. I am so glad you all enjoyed our story of Hannah and Gretel. We seriously love doing this together as a family. The girls got so into it and playing their parts and they love being part of the story. Though, they really were afraid of me as the Old Lady, especially when I put on the glasses. I think now they are kinda scared of old ladies. They saw one walking down the street the other day and True said, “Mommy, I don’t want the old lady to get me!” It was kinda funny. Now, we will have another year to figure out what to do and we will have a new member added to our cast by then. It gets more fun every year!!!
