huzzah!

May 6, 2017

This week’s learned, links, and thankfulness…

Got a lot of work done on the WOVENFOLK website. I have to finalize a couple shipping things and the site should be ready for launch! I’m hoping this week.

Thankful state testing is done! *all the praise hands*

I don’t know if I could rock yellow, but totally loving the vibes of this outfit.

So disappointed in the lack of stock in Everlane and the glitch in the system. It said the day heel would be back May 4th, then got changed to May 7th, but it actually came back in stock May 4th (I emailed and they said the wrong date was a system glitch… argh!), and I missed out. Oye!

Anyone know where I can find this constellation coat rack here in the US?

I’ve totally loved the spring/summer shoes Gap has been putting out lately. These mules and this braided sandal.

This vintage piece is the perfect beach layering piece.

I want to read 12 Ways Your Phone is Changing You.

My former pastor passed away last Sunday. His life created such a ripple effect for eternity and it reminds me that only things done in and for Jesus Christ will last. One of my fondest memories is the joy that overflowed when he led us in singing “In My Heart There Rings a Melody.” One of the verses is… I love the Christ who died on Calv’ry, for He washed my sins away; He put within my heart a melody, And I know it’s there to stay. Pastor Ed lived with the melody of Jesus Christ in his heart.

I’m curious, what sorts of things would you like to see in this space? More crafts, homeschooling, fashion, recipes, or simply day-to-day stories?

Happy weekending!

Please share more of those recipes and food your family would eat! I like your healthy spin on things. I also like the crafts and day to day activity posts. Your blog is my go-to site to visit when I’m bored!

I love your day to day stories! I’d also love more of your & Ben’s love story (I’m on the edge of my seat!)

Thank you for sharing your day to day slice of life: spiritual life, family life, business life, marriage. Please share the pattern for your denim dress!!!. I love your style and sense of dress and accessorizing!!!

  • I am sorry to hear about the loss of your former pastor. That is sad when a family of God passes on, yet hopeful and nice to know that one day you will be reunited. It hurts so much here though!

Hi, I have been occasionally stopping by your blog for years since my daughter was little tiny and now she is 7. I liked to come to see your little adventures. (I don’t know if this comment will show or not, so I am not wanting to be mean). I just stopped coming because it seemed like all of a sudden every blog (not just yours) I was reading was about what people were wearing. I liked your posts about the authenticity of your life…gardening, homeschooling, positive ways to nurture each child differently and I like when you post about your faith and how it is present during the day. You seem humble and fun. I totally identify with your flea-market loving style and your humility. Thanks for keepin’ it real!
