When I was in high school, I used to dream of working for Martha Stewart. I would joke that it would eventually become Rubyellen Living. I know, I’m so silly. I am much more in touch with reality now to know that won’t ever happen, but I am definitely honored to be in the November issue of Martha Stewart Living. It’s like pee in my pants excited! So a slightly different version of my dream came true, but I’ll take it. Thank you Lord! Well, I’m kicking off the weekend with this happy news. Hip, hip, hooray!!!

Congratulations!! I saw your piece in the magazine…which brought me over to your blog….
Love your blog, your creativity, and how you are w/ your kids! We have 4 girls close in age, also…so it’s really fun to see another 4 girl family. …it’s great to get inspiration and ideas..thanks!
Looking forward to keeping up w/ your blog 🙂
Thank you Jaimie!!! Isn’t having 4 girls just utterly insane, but so much fun?!!
no way! i have this issue, just haven’t looked through it yet. that is amazing, congrats!!
WOW!!!! You know I flipped through this issue briefly at the hair salon, the tent stood out to me because I remembered seeing it, but I didn’t read the blurb to see that it was yours! That is FANTASTIC! I remember when the first issue of MS Living came out because I worked at an ad agency when we were first married (I was 26?) and I told my coworkers that I thought this magazine was going to be big! I also kicked myself for never attending RISD because it seemed like everyone who graduated from there got a job with the magazine! So now here you are in it– you rock star!!! Way to go! You are now officially super talented! 😉
