And just like that, our lives have changed and now this family has definitely got a Glow!
This week’s learned and links…
– Soul loves being a big sister and all of a sudden she talks a whole lot more.
– True and Brave have such a vivid imagination and can go on and on role playing for hours!
– Man oh man. I forgot how much work breastfeeding is.
– Giving birth without drugs can be done. It is hard work, but very doable.
– I am loving having four little girls! And so is Ben.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Ours is full of resting, sleeping in, more afternoon naps, and a whole lot of Jane Austen movies while I feed the baby (thanks to Ben’s mom has been so kind to lend a helping hand with the bigger girls).

FOUR

then there were FOURthen there were FOURthen there were FOURthen there were FOUR
Once there was three… and then there were FOUR!!!
The girls are doing so well with Glow. Soul is the most animated about it all and Glow is the only name she will say. She doesn’t even say Brave or True! I was really worried about how she would do with having a new baby around, but Soul is absolutely loving the new role she has been given! Every morning, she wants to see her and talk to her and usually, wherever Glow is, is where she wants to be. I think she found herself a new partner!
Things are well here. I am trying to nap when I can, Ben’s mom has been wonderful handling the older two girls, Ben has been under the weather so sadly hasn’t held Glow since we came home from the hospital, Glow is glowing with all the love she is being given, and we are all just trying to find a new rhythm to our days. Though, I think it will be a bit of time until that rhythm becomes steady.
I have so much to say and write and record from these past few days, and I am sure all these emotions and memories will trickle into a post soon. The thing most of you may be curious about is how birthing went and I have a flood of emotions attached to that isn’t quite ready to make it out of my heart, but I will say this… hypnobirthing is a wonderful way to birth. Until then, thank you all for the love you all have been sending and continue to send!

BABY BABYCAKIES IS HERE

If you haven’t followed on twitter, well, we have got ourselves another GIRL!!! Whew! I am so glad this secret is finally out.
Like our other girls, coming up her name took a very, very long while. I mean what comes after True, Brave, Soul, which almost sounded complete, but obviously wasn’t. There was a message we heard one sunday while gathered with our church family, it is what inspired this banner, and ever since then we played with the names Bright, Shine, Light, but nothing felt right. It wasn’t too long ago that somehow the word glow popped up and we kept thinking about it. The more we thought about it and its definition, the more we fell in love, and knew it was perfect!

Our prayer is that our Glow would possess the light of Christ and shine her light so brightly (Matt 5:14-16). Amorette was the perfect middle name because we got four loves and she is our littlest one!

We are all sorts of over the moon in love with this little Glow. True’s in love. Brave’s in love. And Soul is all-over-kissing-her-everywhere in love too! We are definitely enjoying this very special time. I have got more stories to tell about these past few days, but right now I am going to go back to cuddling. You understand right?!!

Thank you for all those who sent well wishes via twitter and followed the birth that way. That twitter updating was all Ben; it was the first time he ever tweeted! I didn’t even tell him, next thing I knew, after I gave birth, I find out he had become a twitter addict! Even Ben so appreciates all the love and support you all give. It really does mean a lot to this little family of six! SIX!!! And how is Ben coping with the having 4 little girls?! Well, maybe that should come in another post…
That’s right… now we got a True, Brave, Soul, Glow!!!
