Still loving my green denim. Definitely still makes me excited even if Ben isn’t a huge fan. Whenever I wear my colored denim, I just feel extra fun. Anyone else get that feeling?

I feel like I have been all over the place these last few weeks. My mind is so scattered and there are so many things going on. I’m also tired of eating out and really miss cooking. Sometimes I will just eat cereal or yogurt because outside food is kinda boring and mostly low nutrition. Got two more days until we have our kitchen back. Geez a louise, I can hardly wait.

Dear Spurs,
Okay, three straight losses after a 20 game win streak really hurts. Like really. Like so bad that I really couldn’t even watch the game and had to go to the grocery store just to get out the house because the stress was too much hurt. 
Here’s the deal. You got two more chances. I do realize if you lose, and I hope you don’t, it’s cause it wasn’t God’s will for you to win. I get that. God’s got a bigger picture in mind and somehow this comes into play even though I don’t understand, so I will trust in it. But I would really like it if you somehow got out of your slumped and just nailed it. I know you can. Be smart. Capitalize. Make some stops. Get nasty.
Amidst the heart crushing loss of tonight’s game and Ben and I really feeling down in the dump sad about it, like seriously we got some real sadness going on here, there is more to life than basketball. As much as we love you Spurs, you will never satisfy. If we base our happiness on you, we will be left more empty than full. We will only find true joy and satisfaction in Christ. We struggle with loving God and more often find excitement in things that don’t matter. Ahem… in things like you. Sorry to say as much as we love you, our loving you doesn’t make a dent in eternity. In fact, you pretty much are just a time waster. With all of this, we gotta thank you for making this game be a heart check for us. Our hearts being so sad after your loss, makes us realize we aren’t loving Christ and living our life the way He has called us to, so for that we thank you. 
Anyways, we got game 6 in two days, so get your act together and let’s give them Thunders a big spanking! Come on Spurs… let’s do this!  #gospursgo

HUZZAH!

White. I just want white, but why is it so hard to decide which white for kitchen cabinets?! Ugh! There’s dove white, ultra white, pale bloom, whisper white, swiss coffee, and the list goes on. The above was swiss coffee, which I was thinking wasn’t white enough for me that I wanted to switch to dove white, but dove white looked pretty much the same. It took me 5 hours to figure that out. Though I did decide to change from satin finish to semi-gloss. The satin just looked too dull and I am thinking a bit more shine will reflect more light and be brighter. I like brighter. I hate the fact that I get completely obsessed with these details. Anyhow, let’s hope life can now go on. There are much more important things after all. 
Last week was a blur. We moved back in, still don’t have baseboards, and they started working on the kitchen. On top of that, I got mastitis and Ben had to call out of work to stay home and take care of the girls because I was in a lot of pain. Here we are with a brand new week. It hasn’t been normal here for so long that I am forgetting what normal was like.

These are adorably cute and Lime Ricki were so kind to send me one and I wore it under my shorts for Foam Fest and they felt nice and were cute (no one could see them though). This one piece looks fantastic and will hide my mom pooch. As much as I work out, that little pooch just won’t disappear. I am very thankful for spanx. OUT TO SCHOOL: 30

True’s got one week left of school. She’s homeschooled, but takes enrichment classes one day a week. I can’t believe how fast the school year has flown by.

I like drawing. If I had the time, I could doodle all day. My dream job was to be animator and illustrate characters. Somehow that got lost in the shuffle somewhere and I became a teacher. I loved being a teacher too. I would also love to be a graphic designer and I randomly like to make little poems. When I lived in London with the BFF, I was making rhymes for everything and BFF would call me Toula Seuss. Toula because I had crazy hair (and glasses) like the girl from My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Seuss because I made rhymes all the time.  There are too many things I like to do. Ben says I have way too many hobbies.

Baby sister and I kind of like to be matchy-matchy. We have similar tastes so sometimes we end up with the same things, especially when it comes to shoes. Too bad I am a half size bigger than her. She can borrow my shoes, but I can’t borrow hers. She is always eagerly anticipating when I purge through my closet because that means everything gets passed down to her.

My mom was telling me that we get older, we are becoming more and more alike. They have a hard time telling us apart on the phone. RJ, which stands for Richelle Jean, is just much sweeter than me and I am slightly more responsible than her (Her laziness comes from being the baby and getting away with things like not washing dishes). We kind of balance each other out and when you get us together, we just like being silly!
